‘Town centre collaboration and positioning”
We are working with Benson Elliot on implementing a change in approach to managing the Quedam Centre through proactive stakeholder relationships, consumer marketing and asset positioning to support Benson Elliot in the delivery of their development and leasing programme.
The I-AM team have trained and mentored the centre management team to develop and deliver a refreshed approach to retail trading, marketing and stakeholder engagement. Resources have been redeployed to deliver a targeted approach to consumer marketing and existing relationships with key local stakeholders including Yeovil Towns Football Club, Town Team and Council have resulted in improved awareness and support of the future direction of travel for the asset.
A mall and shop front enlivenment programme has activated the vacant stores, and income through key commercialisation initiatives has increased.
Better relationships with retailers have allowed I-AM to understand the key performance metrics of the centre and measure retail performance, providing valuable insight not previously available.
The delivery of new key lettings from the lettings team, such as that to H&M, along with a longer term development plan to further bolster the town’s retail offer means The Quedam is set for the future.
